In a commanding performance, the Green Bay Packers defeated the Minnesota Vikings 49-27 in Week 2 of the 2027 season. The matchup was crucial for both teams as they sought to establish dominance early in the NFC North, but it was the Packers who emerged as the clear frontrunners. Quarterback Jordan Love led the charge for Green Bay, throwing for 281 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his precision and playmaking ability. Running back Josh Jacobs exploded on the ground, racking up 173 rushing yards and adding a touchdown, while wide receiver Christian Watson made his presence felt with 135 receiving yards. This offensive trio was instrumental in building a significant lead that the Vikings could not overcome. Defensively, the Packers also made their mark, with Evan Williams leading the team with five total tackles. The turning point came when Isaiah McDuffie intercepted a pass, halting a potential scoring drive for the Vikings and shifting momentum firmly in favor of Green Bay. Though the Vikings' Andrew Van Ginkel recorded 1.5 sacks, it was the Packers' balanced attack and timely defense that ultimately sealed the victory.
