In a dominant performance, the San Antonio Redwoods topped the Tennessee Titans 48-13 in Week 7 of the 2027 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With this win, the Redwoods showcased their offensive prowess and sent a message to the rest of the league about their championship aspirations. Tyler Shough delivered an explosive outing, throwing for an astounding 540 yards and seven touchdowns, orchestrating a relentless aerial attack. He connected with Ryan Wingo for a staggering 293 receiving yards, making the duo nearly unstoppable throughout the game. Meanwhile, Jordan Mason provided some resistance for the Titans with a strong 127 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Redwoods' high-octane offense. Defensively, the Redwoods were led by Princewill Umanmielen, who recorded a sack, while Kevin Winston Jr. of the Titans stood out with six tackles and two interceptions. The game’s turning point came early in the second quarter when Shough threw a touchdown pass that shifted momentum entirely in favor of San Antonio, allowing them to pull away and never look back. The Titans struggled to recover from that pivotal moment, as the Redwoods maintained control through the remainder of the contest.
