In a thrilling Wildcard Round matchup, the Las Vegas Raiders narrowly defeated the New England Patriots, 30-24, to advance in the playoffs. The stakes were high as both teams fought for a spot in the next round, but it was the Raiders who came out on top in a hard-fought contest. Leading the charge for the Raiders was quarterback Fernando Mendoza, who threw for an impressive 328 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with his receivers. Garrett Wilson was a standout target, racking up 162 receiving yards, proving to be a game-changer for Las Vegas. Despite a strong performance from TreVeyon Henderson, who rushed for 121 yards for New England, the Raiders' aerial attack proved too much to handle. Defensively, the Raiders made crucial plays that shifted momentum, including two sacks from Derrick Moore that kept pressure on the Patriots' offense. The game's turning point came in the fourth quarter when Mendoza connected with Wilson for a touchdown, extending the lead and forcing New England to chase the game. SirVocea Dennis led the Patriots' defense with eight total tackles, but it wasn't enough to overcome the explosive plays from the Raiders' offense.
