In a thrilling Week 1 matchup of the 2027 season, the New York Giants held off the Philadelphia Eagles with a final score of 22-14. Both teams were eager to start the season on a high note, but it was the Giants who came out on top, showcasing their potential early in the campaign. Quarterback Jaxson Dart led the Giants with a solid performance, throwing for 227 yards and keeping the offense moving. Complementing his efforts was running back Cam Skattebo, who dominated on the ground with 113 rushing yards, while Malik Nabers emerged as Dart's favorite target, racking up 83 receiving yards. Together, they formed a potent offensive trio that proved difficult for the Eagles to contain. Defensively, the Giants made crucial stops, highlighted by Darius Alexander's sack that shifted momentum at a pivotal moment in the game. While Mike Jackson of the Eagles recorded nine total tackles, it wasn’t enough to stifle the Giants' offensive rhythm. The turning point came late in the second quarter when the Giants capitalized on a turnover, allowing them to extend their lead and ultimately secure the victory.
