In a thrilling Week 4 clash, the Pittsburgh Steelers narrowly defeated the Los Angeles Chargers by a score of 28-25, improving their season record and solidifying their position in the playoff race. The stakes were high as both teams aimed for a crucial victory, but it was Pittsburgh that emerged victorious on their home turf. Drew Mestemaker led the Steelers' offensive charge with a standout performance, throwing for 301 yards and orchestrating the game with precision. Meanwhile, Jayden Daniels of the Chargers showcased his own prowess, tossing three touchdown passes to keep his team competitive. Quentin Johnston was particularly impressive, racking up 141 receiving yards, providing Daniels with a reliable target throughout the contest. Defensively, Payton Wilson made a significant impact for the Steelers, recording two sacks that disrupted the Chargers' offensive rhythm at key moments. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Wilson's pressure led to an interception, allowing Pittsburgh to maintain their lead and ultimately secure the win. This defensive stand proved pivotal, stifling any hopes of a late-game comeback from Los Angeles.
