The Indianapolis Colts narrowly defeated the Las Vegas Raiders with a final score of 23-17, improving their record to 2-0 in the early stages of the 2031 season. The win was crucial for the Colts as they look to establish themselves as contenders in the competitive AFC landscape. Quarterback Bryce Underwood was the standout performer for Indianapolis, throwing for 246 yards and connecting for two touchdowns. His efficient playmaking was complemented by wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr., who led the receiving corps with 90 yards, providing crucial catches at key moments. The Colts' offensive cohesion ultimately proved too much for the Raiders' defense to handle. Defensively, the Colts were anchored by linebacker Alan Jenkins, who recorded eight total tackles, playing a pivotal role in limiting the Raiders' offensive effectiveness. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Colts' defense held strong, forcing a turnover on downs that allowed them to maintain their slim lead and secure the victory. Despite Jalyx Hunt's impressive two sacks for the Raiders, it was ultimately the Colts' defensive resilience that sealed the win.
