The Denver Broncos secured a 28-17 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9 of the 2031 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams vying for crucial wins, the Broncos rose to the occasion, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive resilience. Duke Rawlings led the charge for Denver with two touchdown passes, while Ousmane Kromah added a solid ground game with 73 rushing yards. Pat Bryant II emerged as a key target, racking up 90 receiving yards and keeping the Jaguars' defense on its heels throughout the contest. Trevor Lawrence of Jacksonville put up a strong performance with 266 passing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Broncos' offensive output. Defensively, the Broncos were formidable, with Wesley Williams recording 1.5 sacks and Pat Surtain II making a game-changing impact with two interceptions. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Surtain's second pick halted a promising Jaguars drive, allowing the Broncos to extend their lead. This defensive stand proved critical as Denver held off Jacksonville's late attempts to rally, ultimately sealing the win.
