In a decisive Week 6 matchup, the Las Vegas Raiders topped the Minnesota Vikings 30-15, further solidifying their position in the playoff hunt. With both teams fighting for momentum in the 2031 season, the Raiders showcased their offensive prowess, leaving the Vikings struggling to keep pace. Fernando Mendoza was the star under center for Las Vegas, throwing for 258 yards and two touchdowns, while Garrett Wilson emerged as his favorite target, racking up 127 receiving yards. Ashton Jeanty led the way for Minnesota on the ground with 81 rushing yards, but the Raiders' offensive firepower proved too much for the Vikings to handle. Defensively, the Raiders made key plays to stifle the Vikings' progress, highlighted by a crucial interception that shifted momentum early in the second half. Despite solid performances from Minnesota's Domonique Orange, who recorded two sacks, the Raiders' defense was effective enough to maintain control and ultimately secure the victory. The game's turning point came when the Raiders capitalized on that crucial interception, leading to a touchdown that stretched their lead to two possessions.
