In a dominating performance, the Carolina Panthers topped the Atlanta Falcons 34-3 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. The victory not only boosts Carolina's momentum early in the season but also serves as a stark reminder of the challenges facing Atlanta as they look to regroup. Bryce Young showcased his passing prowess, throwing for 287 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Panthers' offense with precision. He found Tetairoa McMillan for a standout performance, as McMillan racked up 101 receiving yards. Meanwhile, Bijan Robinson was the lone bright spot for the Falcons, managing 72 rushing yards but failing to find the end zone. Defensively, the Panthers were relentless, with Devin Lloyd leading the charge. Lloyd recorded seven total tackles and made a significant impact with two interceptions, highlighting his playmaking ability. Jaelan Phillips added pressure with a sack, and the Panthers' defense turned the tide early, forcing turnovers and keeping the Falcons from gaining any offensive rhythm. The game shifted decisively when Carolina scored on consecutive drives in the first half, leaving Atlanta unable to recover.
