In a commanding performance to kick off the 2026 season, the New York Jets topped the Tennessee Titans 23-10. This victory sets a strong tone for the Jets, who look to build on their momentum in a competitive conference. Geno Smith led the Jets' offensive charge with a solid 215 passing yards, while Breece Hall shined on the ground, racking up 102 rushing yards. Garrett Wilson was the top target in the air, finishing with 79 receiving yards and contributing to the Jets’ offensive efficiency. The combination of Smith’s arm and Hall’s versatility proved too much for the Titans to handle. Defensively, the Jets made their mark with David Bailey recording a crucial sack, putting pressure on the Titans' quarterback throughout the game. The turning point came when the Jets' defense stepped up in the second half, stifling Tennessee's attempts to rally and allowing New York to maintain control. With Amani Hooker leading the Titans with six tackles, it wasn’t enough to overcome the Jets’ balanced attack and relentless defense.
