In a crucial Week 17 matchup, the Buffalo Bills topped the Kansas City Chiefs 28-10, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the regular season nears its conclusion. With both teams vying for postseason positioning, the Bills delivered a commanding performance, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive resilience. Buffalo's offense was led by quarterback Josh Allen, who threw for a touchdown and managed the game effectively, while running back Matt Spellman stole the show with a stellar 112 rushing yards. Despite the Chiefs' struggles, Patrick Mahomes put up 221 passing yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Bills' well-rounded attack. The Bills' ability to control the clock and capitalize on opportunities was key to their success. Defensively, Buffalo's Terrel Bernard made a significant impact with an interception that shifted the momentum in the Bills' favor. The Chiefs' R Mason Thomas was a standout with 8 total tackles and 1.5 sacks, but the Bills' defense proved to be too much, limiting Kansas City to just ten points. The game's turning point came early in the second half when Bernard's interception not only halted a Chiefs drive but set up a touchdown that widened Buffalo's lead, sealing the victory.
