In a tightly contested Week 18 matchup, the New York Jets narrowly defeated the Denver Broncos 16-13, securing their playoff positioning and ending the regular season on a high note. Both teams fought hard, but the Jets' ability to capitalize on key moments ultimately proved decisive. Bo Nix led the Broncos' offense with a solid performance, throwing for 203 yards and a touchdown. However, it was Breece Hall who shined for the Jets, dominating the ground game with 148 rushing yards, consistently moving the chains and keeping the Broncos' defense on its heels. Chris Bell provided a reliable target for Nix, racking up 112 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to secure the victory. Defensively, both teams made impactful plays, but the Jets' Minkah Fitzpatrick delivered a crucial interception that shifted momentum in their favor. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Fitzpatrick's pick thwarted a potential game-winning drive for the Broncos. With Jamien Sherwood leading the defense with four tackles, the Jets managed to hold off Denver's late-game surge and clinch the win.
