The New Orleans Saints topped the Atlanta Falcons 23-17 in an intense Week 4 matchup of the 2026 season. With both teams seeking to assert themselves in the NFC South, the stakes were high, and the Saints emerged victorious in a tightly contested battle. Tyler Shough led the way for the Saints, throwing for 310 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to move the offense effectively down the field. Alvin Kamara added a solid ground game with 70 rushing yards, while the receiving corps was highlighted by Shough’s precision passing. The Falcons' Zachariah Branch was a standout on the receiving end, racking up 98 yards, but it wasn't enough to secure a win for Atlanta. Defensively, the Saints made crucial plays, particularly from Josh Sweat, who recorded 1.5 sacks, and Lorenzo Styles Jr., who picked off a pass, turning the momentum in New Orleans' favor. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Styles' interception halted a promising Falcons drive, allowing the Saints to maintain their lead and ultimately seal the victory. Divine Deablo led the Falcons with 10 total tackles, but it was not enough to overcome the Saints’ defensive efforts.
