In a dominant opening to the 2027 season, the Chicago Bears trounced the Cincinnati Bengals with a final score of 41-14. This victory sets a strong tone for the Bears as they look to establish themselves as contenders in the highly competitive league. The Bengals, on the other hand, will need to regroup after this disappointing performance. Chicago's Caleb Williams showcased his elite talent, throwing for a staggering 320 yards and four touchdowns, leading the charge for the Bears' offense. His favorite target, Zavion Thomas, was unstoppable, racking up 204 receiving yards and finding the end zone as well. Meanwhile, the Bengals struggled to find their footing, with Chase Brown managing just 16 rushing yards in a lackluster ground game. Defensively, the Bears made their presence felt, with Tyrique Stevenson snagging two interceptions that shifted the momentum in Chicago's favor. Beanie Bishop Jr. led the team with seven total tackles, providing a steady presence in the defensive backfield. The game's turning point came early in the second half, when Stevenson’s second interception set up another quick touchdown, effectively sealing the fate of the Bengals and securing a commanding win for the Bears.
