The Carolina Panthers topped the Cleveland Browns 24-14 in a crucial Week 3 matchup, showcasing a potent offensive display while moving to a strong position early in the 2026 season. Both teams were eager for a win, but it was the Panthers who capitalized on their opportunities to secure the victory. Quarterback Bryce Young was the standout performer for Carolina, throwing for 223 yards and three touchdowns, a performance that proved pivotal in the Panthers' success. Chuba Hubbard contributed with a solid rushing effort, accumulating 55 yards on the ground, while Darren Waller emerged as Young's go-to target, racking up 77 receiving yards and providing key catches throughout the game. Defensively, the Panthers held their ground effectively, limiting the Browns' offense and forcing critical turnovers. Although Jared Verse provided a strong pass rush for Cleveland with two sacks, it was Emmanuel McNeil-Warren's interception that momentarily shifted momentum. However, Carolina's defense stepped up when it mattered most, ensuring the Browns could not mount a comeback in the closing minutes, solidifying their win.
