In a high-octane matchup, the Seattle Seahawks outlasted the Arizona Cardinals with a final score of 41-28, improving their record to 2-0 in the 2026 season. The stakes were high as both teams sought to establish their dominance early in the year, but it was Seattle that came out on top. Quarterback Jalen Milroe led the way for the Seahawks, throwing for 208 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with key targets. Among those targets, Jaxon Smith-Njigba stood out with 87 receiving yards, making crucial catches that kept the chains moving. On the ground, the Cardinals' Jeremiyah Love was impressive, racking up 185 rushing yards, but it ultimately wasn't enough to secure a win. Defensively, the Seahawks made pivotal plays, highlighted by Ernest Jones IV's interception that shifted momentum in Seattle's favor. While the Cardinals' Harrison Smith recorded a solid six tackles and Sebastian Joseph-Day notched a sack, their efforts weren't enough to contain the Seahawks' offensive firepower. The turning point came late in the third quarter, when Milroe's second touchdown pass put Seattle ahead by two scores, leaving Arizona scrambling to catch up.
