In a commanding performance, the Las Vegas Raiders defeated the New England Patriots 33-10 in Week 5 of the 2026 season. With this victory, the Raiders solidify their position in the playoff race, while the Patriots face challenges as they seek to find consistency in their game. Raiders quarterback Joe Milton was the star of the night, throwing for two touchdowns and rushing for an impressive 92 yards, showcasing his dual-threat capability. On the receiving end, the Raiders’ offense was complemented by a strong performance from their supporting cast. For the Patriots, Drake Maye threw for 229 yards but struggled to convert those yards into points, highlighting a disconnect in their offensive execution. Defensively, the Raiders were relentless, led by Quay Walker, who recorded nine total tackles, and Jeremy Chinn, who made a significant impact with two interceptions. The turning point of the game came when Chinn's second interception set up a quick scoring drive for the Raiders, extending their lead and effectively putting the game out of reach for the Patriots. The Raiders' defense not only contained the Patriots’ offense but also created crucial turnovers, sealing their dominance on the field.
