In a thrilling Week 4 showdown, the New York Jets narrowly defeated the Chicago Bears by a score of 38-30, solidifying their position in the playoff race. Both teams entered the game with high hopes, but it was the Jets who emerged victorious in a contest filled with explosive plays and crucial moments. Jets running back Braelon Allen led the charge on the ground, racking up 96 rushing yards to keep the Chicago defense on its heels. Quarterback Caleb Williams of the Bears showcased his arm strength, throwing for 244 yards and two touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Jets’ offensive balance. Colston Loveland also had a strong showing for Chicago, finishing with 88 receiving yards, making key catches to help keep his team competitive. Defensively, the game turned on a pivotal interception by Jarvis Brownlee Jr. of the Jets, who picked off Williams at a crucial moment in the second half, shifting momentum back to New York. Although T.J. Edwards led the Bears with 11 tackles, their defense struggled to contain the Jets' diverse attack. The combination of timely defensive plays and a potent offense ultimately secured the Jets’ victory, as they held off a late charge from Chicago to clinch the win.
