In a commanding performance, the Minnesota Vikings topped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-13 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. The win solidifies the Vikings' position in the playoff race, while the Buccaneers are left searching for answers after a disappointing outing at home. Kyler Murray showcased his talent, throwing for two touchdowns and contributing significantly to the Vikings' offensive success. Jauan Jennings was a standout in the receiving game, racking up 140 yards, while Jordan Mason led the ground attack with 78 rushing yards. Together, they helped Minnesota build a comfortable lead early in the game. Defensively, the Vikings were relentless, with Byron Murphy Jr. not only leading the team in tackles with 11 but also snagging an interception that shifted momentum in Minnesota's favor. Dallas Turner added pressure with 1.5 sacks, creating key stops that stifled any potential Buccaneers' comeback. The turning point came when Murphy's interception set the Vikings up for a crucial touchdown, effectively sealing the victory and demoralizing Tampa Bay.
