In a decisive matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the New England Patriots 35-17 in Week 3 of the 2026 season, solidifying their strong start this year. The Jaguars showcased their offensive prowess against a struggling Patriots squad, looking to bounce back after an inconsistent start to the season. Trevor Lawrence led the charge for Jacksonville, throwing for three touchdowns and effectively managing the game. On the other side, Drake Maye put up impressive numbers with 283 passing yards for New England, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Jaguars’ offensive firepower. Despite the Patriots' Hunter Henry shining with 107 receiving yards, they couldn't keep pace with Jacksonville's scoring onslaught. Defensively, the Jaguars put together a solid performance, with Antonio Johnson leading the team with five total tackles. Foyesade Oluokun contributed with a key sack that helped stifle the Patriots' momentum at critical moments. The game’s turning point came when Travis Hunter intercepted a pass in the second half, setting up a touchdown drive that put the Jaguars ahead by two scores, ultimately sealing the victory.
