In a decisive Week 2 matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars dominated the Denver Broncos, securing a 28-7 victory. With this win, the Jaguars keep their momentum strong early in the 2026 season, showcasing their offensive prowess against a struggling Denver team. Trevor Lawrence was the standout performer for Jacksonville, throwing for 300 yards and three touchdowns, effectively leading his team to victory. His connection with receiver Brian Thomas Jr., who racked up 73 receiving yards, proved to be a key component in the Jaguars' offensive scheme. Despite the Broncos' defense making some plays, they could not contain Lawrence's precision and poise throughout the game. Defensively, the Jaguars made their mark with Antonio Johnson's interception, which shifted the momentum firmly in Jacksonville’s favor. The Broncos struggled to find their offensive rhythm, with D'Andre Swift's 38 rushing yards being the highlight of a lackluster ground game. The turning point came in the second quarter when Lawrence threw his second touchdown, putting the Jaguars up by two scores and leaving the Broncos playing catch-up for the rest of the afternoon.
