In a tightly contested Week 13 matchup, the New York Jets narrowly defeated the New England Patriots, 19-13, solidifying their playoff aspirations. With both teams fighting for positioning, the stakes were high, and the Jets capitalized on their home-field advantage to secure the victory. Jordan Love led the Jets' offense with a solid performance, throwing for 226 yards, while Tory Horton emerged as his top target, racking up 77 receiving yards. On the other side of the ball, Baker Mayfield showcased his athleticism with 92 rushing yards but struggled to find the end zone, leaving the Patriots just short of a comeback. Defensively, the Jets were pivotal in the outcome, with Kyle Hamilton's interception serving as a critical turning point that stifled any momentum the Patriots hoped to build. The Patriots' defense, led by Jack Jones with six tackles, kept the game close, but it was the Jets' ability to capitalize on key defensive plays that ultimately sealed their victory.
