The Atlanta Falcons topped the Cleveland Browns 42-28 in a pivotal Week 14 matchup, solidifying their playoff aspirations while dealing a blow to the Browns' hopes. With both teams pushing for postseason positioning, this game was critical for maintaining momentum as the regular season winds down. Atlanta's offense was led by quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who threw for 277 yards, showcasing his ability to move the ball effectively. Quinshon Judkins was the standout on the ground, racking up 124 rushing yards and finding the end zone, while the Browns' Matthew Stafford struggled to keep pace, managing only one touchdown pass despite a strong performance from receiver KC Concepcion Jr., who amassed 120 receiving yards. Defensively, the Falcons made crucial plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Jalon Walker recorded a key sack that disrupted Cleveland's offensive rhythm, while Denzel Ward's interception helped to seal the game late in the second half. The Browns' Budda Baker led his team with eight tackles, but it was the Falcons' timely defensive stands that ultimately dictated the outcome, allowing Atlanta to outlast Cleveland in a high-scoring affair.
