In an exciting Week 5 showdown, the Baltimore Ravens narrowly defeated the Atlanta Falcons 31-24, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams vying for momentum early in the season, this matchup proved pivotal for the Ravens as they look to establish dominance in the conference. Atlanta's Michael Penix Jr. showcased his arm strength, throwing for 284 yards and two touchdowns, while Quinshon Judkins added a stellar performance on the ground with 115 rushing yards. Zachariah Branch was also a key contributor, racking up 99 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome Baltimore's offensive firepower. Defensively, Malaki Starks led the Ravens with nine total tackles, making critical stops throughout the game. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Marlon Humphrey intercepted a Penix pass, thwarting a potential game-tying drive and allowing Baltimore to maintain their lead. Despite a strong effort from Atlanta's defense, including 1.5 sacks from Harold Perkins Jr., the Ravens held on for the victory.
