In a dominant display, the Houston Texans defeated the Tennessee Titans 56-14 in Week 5 of the 2026 season. The victory solidified the Texans' position in the league, showcasing their offensive firepower and defensive prowess against a struggling Titans squad. C.J. Stroud was the star of the game, throwing for an impressive 410 yards and five touchdowns, leading the Texans to a commanding offensive performance. Nico Collins was his favorite target, racking up 156 receiving yards and finding the end zone as well. Meanwhile, the rushing attack was largely absent for the Titans, with Chimere Dike managing only 15 yards on the ground. Defensively, the Texans were relentless, with Will Anderson Jr. recording three sacks and disrupting the Titans' passing game throughout the contest. Calen Bullock contributed with a team-high five tackles, while Kamari Lassiter's interception further highlighted Houston's defensive dominance. The turning point came early in the second quarter when Stroud connected with Collins for a long touchdown, setting the tone for a game that quickly slipped out of Tennessee's reach.
