The Atlanta Falcons cruised to a decisive 35-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Week 2 of the 2026 season, solidifying their early-season momentum. With this win, the Falcons continue to establish themselves as a formidable contender in the NFC South. Leading the charge for Atlanta was quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who threw for an impressive 322 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to command the offense. Wide receiver Zachariah Branch was his favorite target, racking up 127 receiving yards and finding the end zone, while Quinshon Judkins added a steady ground presence with 47 rushing yards to keep the defense honest. Defensively, the Falcons made a significant impact with a relentless performance, highlighted by Denzel Ward's two interceptions that shifted the game's momentum.
