In a thrilling opening to the 2026 season, the Indianapolis Colts topped the Baltimore Ravens with a final score of 31-19. Both teams were eager to make a statement, but it was the Colts who emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive prowess and strong defensive plays. Quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. led the charge for Indianapolis, throwing for three touchdowns and guiding his team to a commanding performance. On the other side, Lamar Jackson threw for 268 yards, connecting with Zay Flowers, who racked up 118 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Colts' offensive firepower. Derrick Henry also contributed with 86 rushing yards, but the Ravens struggled to find the end zone consistently. Defensively, the Colts made their mark with Jonathan Owens recording five total tackles and Laiatu Latu dominating the pass rush with 2.5 sacks. Sauce Gardner also made a pivotal interception that shifted momentum in favor of Indianapolis during the second half. The combination of timely defensive plays and a high-scoring offense proved to be the deciding factors in this Week 1 matchup, as the Colts held off a late Ravens surge to secure their opening win.
