In a high-octane showdown, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Tennessee Titans 56-31 in Week 2 of the 2027 season, showcasing their offensive firepower and looking to establish themselves as early contenders. This victory not only boosts Jacksonville's confidence but also sends a clear message to the rest of the league. Trevor Lawrence was the star of the evening, throwing for 5 touchdowns and adding 67 rushing yards, proving to be a dual-threat that the Titans struggled to contain. Cam Ward of the Titans also had a strong performance, racking up 454 passing yards and connecting with Chimere Dike for 205 receiving yards, but it was not enough to keep pace with Jacksonville's explosive offense. On the defensive side, the Jaguars made their presence felt, with Keon Sabb leading the charge with 6 total tackles and snagging an interception. Josh Hines-Allen disrupted the Titans' rhythm with an impressive 3.5 sacks, which played a crucial role in turning the tide of the game. A key moment came in the second quarter when Jacksonville's defense forced a crucial turnover, allowing them to pull away and secure the victory.
