In a dominating performance, the Las Vegas Raiders took down the Denver Broncos with a final score of 40-3 in Week 4 of the 2027 season. This decisive victory not only boosts the Raiders’ confidence but also solidifies their position in the playoff hunt early in the season. Quarterback Fernando Mendoza showcased his elite skills, throwing for 396 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Raiders’ offense with precision. Tory Horton was his primary target, amassing an impressive 207 receiving yards, making significant contributions that kept the Broncos' defense on their heels. Meanwhile, RJ Harvey led the Broncos on the ground with a modest 48 rushing yards, struggling to find any rhythm against a relentless Raiders defense. Defensively, the Raiders were equally impressive, with Byron Murphy II recording 1.5 sacks that disrupted the Broncos' offensive flow. The game’s turning point came early when Mendoza connected with Horton for a 75-yard touchdown, setting the tone for a dominant offensive display. The Broncos’ inability to respond, coupled with the Raiders’ suffocating defense, sealed their fate in this one-sided matchup.
