In a hard-fought contest, the Kansas City Chiefs topped the Los Angeles Chargers 20-10 in Week 6 of the 2027 season. With playoff aspirations on the line, this victory solidifies the Chiefs' position in the standings and showcases their resilience against a division rival. Patrick Mahomes led the charge for Kansas City, throwing for 115 yards and a touchdown, while Xavier Worthy emerged as his top target with 63 receiving yards. On the other side, Omarion Hampton was the standout for the Chargers, rushing for 45 yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Chiefs' offense. Defensively, the Chiefs made their mark with Xavier Nwankpa recording five tackles, helping to limit the Chargers' offensive opportunities. The game's turning point came late in the second quarter when the Chiefs intercepted a pass, allowing them to extend their lead before halftime, and ultimately control the pace of the game in the second half.
