In a dominant performance, the Cleveland Browns topped the New York Jets 70-31 in Week 5 of the 2026 season. The stakes were high as both teams sought to improve their standings, but the Browns proved too formidable on both sides of the ball. Cleveland's offense was firing on all cylinders, led by quarterback Taylen Green, who threw for an impressive 450 yards and seven touchdowns. Omari Evans contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 155 rushing yards, while Garrett Wilson of the Jets stood out with 154 receiving yards in a futile effort to keep pace with the Browns' explosive offense. Defensively, the Browns made their mark with a relentless pass rush, highlighted by Jared Verse's three sacks. Tyson Campbell anchored the defense with four total tackles, while Amare Barno added an interception to halt any momentum the Jets could muster. The game's turning point came early in the second quarter when Cleveland scored three unanswered touchdowns, effectively putting the game out of reach for New York.
