In a commanding performance, the Cleveland Browns defeated the New York Jets 37-7 in Week 5 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The Browns showcased their dominance, with a well-rounded offensive attack that overwhelmed the Jets from start to finish. Cleveland's quarterback Taylen Green led the charge with an impressive 251 passing yards and four touchdown passes, connecting frequently with standout receiver Tyreek Hill, who racked up 180 receiving yards. Quinshon Judkins contributed on the ground with 52 rushing yards, helping to keep the Jets' defense off balance throughout the game. Defensively, the Browns made key plays that stifled any hopes of a Jets comeback, highlighted by Grant Delpit's interception that shifted momentum firmly in Cleveland's favor. The Jets struggled to find their rhythm, with Demario Davis leading the defense with just three total tackles and one sack, but it was not enough to counteract the potent Browns offense. The turning point came early in the second half when Delpit's interception set up a quick touchdown, effectively sealing the game and leaving New York with little chance to respond.
