The Cleveland Browns put on a commanding performance, defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 40-18 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. With this win, the Browns improved their record and demonstrated their potential as serious contenders this year, while the Buccaneers will have to regroup after a tough outing at home. Baker Mayfield led the Buccaneers' passing attack with an impressive 323 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to move the ball through the air. However, it was Quinshon Judkins of the Browns who stole the show on the ground, racking up 93 rushing yards and contributing significantly to Cleveland's offensive explosion. Meanwhile, Emeka Egbuka was the standout receiver for Tampa Bay, accumulating 125 yards and keeping the pressure on the Browns' secondary. Defensively, Denzel Ward played a key role for the Browns, logging nine total tackles to help stifle the Buccaneers' offense. The turning point came in the second half when the Browns' defense forced crucial turnovers, allowing them to maintain a dominant lead. Despite Yaya Diaby's impressive performance with 2.5 sacks for Tampa Bay, it wasn't enough to overcome Cleveland's relentless attack and solid defensive effort.
