The Green Bay Packers opened their 2026 season with a commanding 33-14 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. With this win, the Packers set an early tone in the division, showcasing their offensive firepower while the Vikings look to regroup after a tough loss at home. Leading the charge for Green Bay was quarterback Jordan Love, who threw for 171 yards and two touchdowns, efficiently directing the offense. Running back Josh Jacobs added a stellar performance with 111 rushing yards, while tight end Tucker Kraft emerged as a key target, racking up 106 receiving yards. This offensive trio played a pivotal role in establishing a significant lead early in the game. Defensively, the Packers made their mark with a key interception from Marte Mapu, which shifted momentum in their favor. While the Vikings' Dallas Turner recorded 1.5 sacks, the Packers' defense, spearheaded by Brandon Cisse's four tackles, managed to stifle Minnesota's attempts to mount a comeback. The turning point came in the second quarter when Mapu's interception set up a touchdown that put the game out of reach for the Vikings.
