In an explosive start to the 2026 season, the Buffalo Bills outlasted the Houston Texans with a final score of 45-36. Josh Allen was the star of the game for Buffalo, throwing for 341 yards and four touchdowns, demonstrating his ability to command the offense. Complementing Allen's performance, Taysom Hill racked up 119 receiving yards, providing critical support in the passing game. Meanwhile, Houston's Isiah Pacheco turned heads with a staggering 181 rushing yards, keeping the Texans competitive throughout the contest. Defensively, the game saw standout performances but ultimately hinged on the Bills' ability to make key stops. Maxwell Hairston made a crucial interception, shifting momentum in Buffalo's favor at a pivotal moment. Although Nik Bonitto registered two sacks for Houston, the Bills' defense held firm when it mattered most, allowing them to maintain their lead and secure the win.
