The Cincinnati Bengals topped the Atlanta Falcons 38-21 in a decisive Week 9 showdown, solidifying their grip on a playoff spot as the season heads into the second half. With both teams looking to improve their standings, this matchup was crucial for momentum heading into the stretch run of the season. Joe Burrow was the star of the night, throwing for an impressive 349 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the Bengals' high-powered offense. Tee Higgins was his top target, racking up 170 receiving yards, while Bijan Robinson of the Falcons fought hard on the ground, finishing with 85 rushing yards but unable to turn the tide for his team. Defensively, Channing Tindall made a significant impact for the Bengals, recording nine total tackles and 1.5 sacks, helping to stifle the Falcons' offensive efforts. Cincinnati's defense stepped up at key moments, forcing turnovers and limiting Atlanta's scoring opportunities. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Tindall's sack set up a critical three-and-out, allowing the Bengals to extend their lead just before halftime.
