The Seattle Seahawks secured a decisive 34-14 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in their Week 5 matchup of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams vying for crucial divisional wins, the Seahawks showcased their dominance from the opening whistle. Sam Darnold led the Seahawks' offensive charge, throwing for three touchdowns and keeping the 49ers' defense on their heels. Jadarian Price complemented the passing game with a solid 85 rushing yards, providing balance and allowing Seattle to control the pace of the game. Justin Fields had a respectable outing for San Francisco, racking up 239 passing yards but ultimately couldn't find the end zone. Defensively, Julian Love was a force for the Seahawks, totaling 11 tackles and snagging an interception, which turned the tide in the second half. DeMarcus Lawrence added pressure with a sack, helping to stifle any momentum the 49ers tried to build. The Seahawks' defense made key stops at critical moments, particularly following Love's interception, which set up another scoring drive and put the game firmly out of reach for San Francisco.
