In a dominant display, the Atlanta Falcons topped the Carolina Panthers 37-0 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. With this victory, the Falcons established themselves as a formidable force early in the year, showcasing their potential for a playoff run while leaving the Panthers searching for answers after a rough start. Joe Milton led the charge for Atlanta, throwing for 269 yards and two touchdowns, effectively orchestrating the offense throughout the game. Bijan Robinson added to the offensive onslaught with 88 rushing yards, while Zachariah Branch was a standout in the receiving corps, racking up 114 yards to keep the chains moving. The Falcons' balanced attack proved too much for the Panthers to handle. Defensively, the Falcons stifled any hopes of a Carolina comeback, highlighted by Brandon Dorlus, who recorded 1.5 sacks, putting consistent pressure on the Panthers' quarterback. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Falcons scored two quick touchdowns, effectively putting the game out of reach. With Tre'von Moehrig leading the Panthers with seven tackles, it was clear that the defense couldn't contain the relentless offensive onslaught from Atlanta, sealing a convincing shutout victory.
