In a dominant performance to kick off the 2026 season, the Green Bay Packers defeated the Minnesota Vikings 38-14. With both teams vying for an early advantage in the NFC North, the Packers showcased their offensive prowess and defensive strength right from the start. Quarterback Jordan Love led the charge for Green Bay, throwing for an impressive 337 yards and four touchdowns, establishing himself as a key player for the Packers. Christian Watson was his favorite target, racking up 111 receiving yards, while Josh Jacobs contributed on the ground with 59 rushing yards. Together, they formed a dynamic offensive unit that proved too much for the Vikings to handle. Defensively, Micah Parsons was the standout star, registering four total tackles and an impressive three sacks, consistently pressuring Minnesota's offense. The game's turning point came in the second quarter when Parsons' relentless pursuit led to a crucial sack and forced fumble, shifting momentum firmly in Green Bay's favor.
