In a commanding season opener, the Baltimore Ravens topped the Indianapolis Colts with a decisive 45-24 victory. Both teams were eager to set the tone for the 2026 season, but it was the Ravens who showcased their offensive prowess and defensive strength to secure the win. Lamar Jackson led the charge for Baltimore, throwing for three touchdowns while accumulating 285 passing yards. Derrick Henry added to the offensive onslaught, rushing for 112 yards, and Zay Flowers was a standout in the passing game, racking up 133 receiving yards. The Ravens’ ability to move the ball effectively kept the Colts on their heels throughout the contest. Defensively, Baltimore made crucial plays to stifle the Colts' momentum, highlighted by Kyle Hamilton's interception that shifted the game's momentum. Cole Wisniewski's nine total tackles further solidified the Ravens' defensive performance, ensuring that Indianapolis could not mount a significant comeback. The turning point came when Hamilton's pick set up a quick touchdown, pushing the Ravens' lead to 21-10 and allowing them to control the game from that moment forward.
