The New York Giants narrowly defeated the Houston Texans with a final score of 33-27 in a thrilling Week 7 showdown of the 2026 season. Both teams entered the game looking to solidify their playoff aspirations, but it was the Giants who emerged victorious in a hard-fought battle. Jaxson Dart led the charge for New York, throwing for 288 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his prowess as a playmaker. Complementing his performance was running back Cam Skattebo, who rushed for an impressive 124 yards, while Odell Beckham Jr. added to the offensive fireworks with 107 receiving yards. This trio's combined efforts kept the Giants' offense firing on all cylinders throughout the contest. Defensively, the Giants made crucial plays that turned the tide in their favor, with Brian Burns recording a dominant 2.5 sacks to pressure the Texans’ quarterback. Houston's Germaine Pratt was a standout on defense with 12 total tackles, but it was the Giants’ defensive front that proved more disruptive when it mattered most. The game’s pivotal moment arrived late in the fourth quarter, as Dart's scoring toss, coupled with Burns' relentless pressure, sealed the victory for New York.
