In a tightly contested matchup, the Las Vegas Raiders narrowly defeated the New England Patriots 14-10 in Week 5 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications looming, both teams fought fiercely for a crucial victory, but it was the Raiders who emerged victorious, securing their place in the standings. Drake Maye led the charge for the Patriots, throwing for 242 yards and a touchdown, while DeMario Douglas shone as his top target, racking up 100 receiving yards. Breece Hall contributed on the ground with 49 rushing yards, but it was the Raiders' balanced offensive attack that ultimately made the difference in the game's final moments. Defensively, the Raiders were powered by Quay Walker's eight total tackles and Maxx Crosby's impressive 2.5 sacks, consistently pressuring Maye and disrupting the Patriots' rhythm. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Carlton Davis III intercepted Maye, giving the Raiders a critical possession that ultimately sealed the game.
