The Dallas Cowboys topped the Houston Texans 31-19 in a Week 4 showdown of the 2026 season, solidifying their position as a team to watch this year. With both squads vying for playoff positioning, the Cowboys showcased their offensive prowess to take control of the game. Dak Prescott led the charge for Dallas, throwing for 264 yards and two touchdowns, while also demonstrating poise in the pocket. The ground game was bolstered by Javonte Williams, who racked up 78 rushing yards, and CeeDee Lamb was a standout in the air, amassing 146 receiving yards. Together, they formed a formidable offensive unit that kept the Texans on their heels throughout the contest. Defensively, the Cowboys made key plays that shifted momentum, highlighted by DeMarvion Overshown's two sacks and Trevon Diggs’ interception. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Diggs picked off a pass that halted a promising Texans drive, allowing Dallas to extend their lead and ultimately secure the victory. The Texans' defense, led by Calen Bullock with seven tackles, fought hard but couldn't contain the explosive Cowboys offense when it mattered most.
