In a commanding performance, the Bozeman Mustangs topped the Death Valley TERRORS 48-20 in Week 5 of the 2026 season, securing a crucial victory to maintain momentum in their campaign. The win solidifies Bozeman's position as a formidable contender, while the TERRORS will need to regroup as they navigate the rest of the season. Lamar Jackson was nothing short of spectacular for the Mustangs, racking up 346 passing yards and throwing six touchdowns, showcasing his dual-threat capability by also rushing for 123 yards. Elic Ayomanor emerged as a key target, notching 119 receiving yards, while the offensive line provided the protection needed for Jackson to operate effectively throughout the game. On the defensive side, the Mustangs made their presence felt, with Nick Herbig recording 1.5 sacks, adding pressure that disrupted the TERRORS' offensive rhythm. The turning point came early in the third quarter when a critical interception by Jarrian Jones shifted momentum briefly, but the Mustangs quickly regained control, shutting down any hopes of a comeback. With a balanced offensive attack and a solid defensive performance, Bozeman demonstrated why they are a team to watch this season.
