In a dominant display, the Corona Centennial cruised to a 58-28 victory over the Little Rock Kings in Week 3 of the 2026 season. With both teams looking to establish themselves early in the year, the outcome solidified Corona's position as a formidable contender in the league. Patrick Mahomes led the charge for the Centennial, throwing for 287 yards and an impressive five touchdowns, showcasing his elite arm talent and precision. Jahmyr Gibbs added to the offensive fireworks with 91 rushing yards, while KaVontae Turpin stole the spotlight with a remarkable 174 receiving yards, making crucial plays that kept the chains moving and the scoreboard ticking. The Corona defense played a pivotal role in the game, highlighted by Nik Bonitto's two sacks and Jailin Walker's interception that shifted momentum. The turning point came in the second quarter when Walker's pick set up another scoring drive for Mahomes, allowing Corona to extend their lead and put Little Rock on their heels. Despite a valiant effort from Maxwell Hairston, who tallied five tackles for the Kings, it was clear that Corona's well-rounded performance on both sides of the ball was too much to overcome.
