In a high-scoring affair, the San Antonio Outlaws topped the Warroad Woodchucks 55-40 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. The win positions the Outlaws as a formidable contender early in the season, showcasing their offensive prowess and ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities. Leading the charge for San Antonio was quarterback Brock Purdy, who delivered a stellar performance with 375 passing yards and five touchdown passes. Purdy also contributed on the ground, adding 63 rushing yards, while tight end Trey McBride was a significant target, racking up 176 receiving yards. The Outlaws' offensive explosion proved too much for the Woodchucks to handle. Defensively, the Woodchucks struggled to contain the Outlaws' relentless attack, but they did have some standout moments. Calijah Kancey recorded two sacks, providing pressure on Purdy, while Minkah Fitzpatrick secured an interception to thwart a drive. However, the game's turning point came late in the first half when San Antonio scored two quick touchdowns, establishing a lead that the Woodchucks could not overcome.
