In a commanding performance, the Indianapolis Colts topped the Dallas Cowboys 28-7 in Week 9 of the 2026 season. With this victory, the Colts solidified their position in the playoff race, showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball. Jonathan Taylor was the standout on offense, racking up an impressive 155 rushing yards and scoring a touchdown, which kept the Colts in control throughout the game. Dak Prescott also contributed for the Cowboys, throwing for 133 yards and a touchdown, but his efforts were not enough to match the Colts' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Colts made a significant impact with Charvarius Ward Sr. securing two crucial interceptions, halting any momentum the Cowboys tried to build. The game's turning point came when the Colts intercepted Prescott in the red zone, leading to a quick touchdown drive that shifted the game's momentum decisively in their favor. CJ Allen also contributed with four total tackles, helping to stifle any potential Cowboy rallies.
