In a tightly contested Week 7 matchup, the Green Bay Packers narrowly defeated the Detroit Lions with a final score of 18-16. This victory keeps the Packers in the playoff hunt, while the Lions will need to regroup as they look to stay competitive in the second half of the season. Jared Goff led the Lions with a solid performance, passing for 275 yards, but it was the Packers' Quinshon Judkins and Jayden Reed who made the biggest impact. Judkins rushed for 69 yards, providing crucial ground support, while Reed emerged as a key target in the passing game, racking up 94 receiving yards to help secure the win for Green Bay. Defensively, Talanoa Hufanga of the Lions was a standout, leading the team with seven total tackles, but it was Derrick Moore's lone sack that highlighted Detroit's efforts to apply pressure. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Packers' defense held firm, forcing a crucial turnover on downs that sealed the victory and allowed Green Bay to run out the clock.
