The New England Patriots dominated the New York Jets with a resounding 54-3 victory in Week 6 of the 2026 season. This decisive win solidifies the Patriots' playoff aspirations, while the Jets continue to struggle for answers as their season takes a downturn. Drake Maye led the charge for New England, throwing for an impressive 309 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing both his arm strength and precision. A.J. Brown was his top target, racking up 136 receiving yards and consistently finding space in the Jets' defense. TreVeyon Henderson also made a significant impact on the ground with 85 rushing yards, contributing to the team's balanced offensive attack. Defensively, the Patriots were relentless, with Christian Gonzalez making a game-changing contribution by intercepting two passes, halting any potential momentum from the Jets. The turning point came early in the second quarter when Gonzalez's second interception set up another touchdown, pushing the Patriots' lead to an insurmountable 27-0. This defensive dominance, combined with the explosive offense, proved too much for the Jets to handle.
