In a decisive Week 3 matchup of the 2026 season, the Houston Texans topped the Indianapolis Colts with a commanding 45-24 victory. This win solidifies the Texans' momentum early in the season, while the Colts look to regroup after a tough loss at home. C.J. Stroud was electric for Houston, throwing for four touchdown passes and leading the offense with precision. Dylan Sampson was a force on the ground, racking up 142 rushing yards, which helped set the tone for the Texans. Meanwhile, Anthony Richardson Sr. did his best to keep the Colts competitive, throwing for 326 yards, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Houston’s offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Texans made critical plays that shifted the game's momentum. Will Anderson Jr. was a standout, recording two sacks that disrupted Richardson’s rhythm, while Wade Woodaz added an interception that halted a Colts drive. The Texans' ability to capitalize on defensive opportunities ultimately paved the way for their dominant win.
